Sometimes spring cleaning reveals hidden treasures. The gasolier in the Parlor, arguably hanging there since gas became available in the neighborhood around 1868, has probably lost and regained several of its 6 delicate glass globes over time. They don’t all match. But finding out that two of them have a shamrock pattern was a charming — and seasonal — surprise.
