Due to the extreme weather, and for the safety of staff, volunteers, and visitors, we will be closing both our sites this weekend.
The downtown David L. Pierce Art & History Center, featuring exhibits and the gift shop, will be closed Friday, December 23rd & Saturday, December 24th (already normally closed on Xmas eve).
Hours for the center next week will be Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (Dec. 28-29-30), Noon to 4:00 p.m., closed on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
Regular hours will return after the New Year: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Noon to 4:00, and Saturday 10-4.
The decorated Tanner House will NOT open for its Friday evening hours on December 23rd. However, there is one more chance to see the decorated house: Friday, December 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are always appreciated.
After December 30, the Tanner House will close for the season until the end of May.
