Angela Clay Thomas

Angela Clay Thomas was reelected to a third term on the Board of Trustees of the Aurora Historical Society on January 21, 2021.  She has been active in fund-raising and programming for the historical society.  A former administrator with the Quad County Urban League she is currently the executive director of the Pregnancy Information Center in Aurora.  In 2016 she became the first African American woman elected to the Kane County Board and recently served as Vice Chair of Aurora’s 2020 Census Complex Count Committee. A graduate of the University of Miami, she holds an MBA from American University in Washington, D.C.
